COVID UPDATE - December 14, 2020

Dear Valued Customer,

Do to the surge in COVID cases over the past few weeks, we have a few new rules the Shawnee County Health Department has implemented that will effect our operations:

MAXIMUM CAPACITY - Shawnee County released new restrictions on 11/12 that limits the capacity of our facility to 100 people, which includes employees and non-participants as well as actual bowlers. To comply with this order, we will be making several adjustments to our policies and procedures of our League & Open Play operations.

LEAGUE SESSIONS - Based on the total number of participants, league sessions will be adjusted as followed:

League Schedule Alterations

  • League Sessions with less than or equal to 85 participants will see no schedule changes
  • League Sessions with greater than 85 participants will immediately begin an alternating schedule. In these sessions, leagues will be assigned to bowl on either "A" week or a "B" week. "A" week will begin on Sunday, November 15th and our first "B" week will start on Sunday, November 22nd. We will continue alternation between "A" and "B" weeks for the remainder of this health order.
    • League officers and team captains will be notified if and how their league is affected.

General League Policy Alterations

  • Seating - All league participants will be asked to sit at assigned seats to comply with the order's 10 person mass gathering limit. Participants need to avoid standing around and congregating in groups of greater than 10.
  • Spectators/Non-Participants - We are asking spectators (non-participants) to avoid coming to the facility to watch. This will help us reduce the number of leagues that will be affected by the alternating schedules. In addition, it will allow us to know how many recreational open play guests we can accommodate at any given time.
    • NOTE: We realize some youth bowlers will need to have a guardian in the facility. We are taking this in consideration and will make sure our numbers during youth leagues will allow for each youth participant to have a guardian present

OPEN PLAY - Open play will still be available; however, the capacity that we can serve walk-in customers will vary drastically based on several factors. We recommend calling prior to coming to the facility, in addition, in the coming days we will have an estimated schedule showing estimated open play availability during the week. We will have some new procedures and policies in place, and they are outlined below:

  • Cosmic Bowling - We will allow a maximum of 90 guests during our Cosmic bowling sessions. We highly recommend making a prepaid reservation to guarantee a spot in these sessions. All guests must purchase as session pass/wristband in order to remain in the building.
  • Birthday Parties/Groups - These events are still possible, but may have restrictions to comply with the order. Each situation will be evaluated individually, but we will do what we can to accommodate our guests. All groups must abide by the 10 person mass gathering guideline, and social distance properly.
  • In the event we are at maximum capacity, upon arrival guests will be asked to join our waiting list and return to their car to wait. As we have lanes come available, we will telephone guests.
  • Some of our weekly specials will be temporarily discontinued or altered to accommodate any adjustments to league schedules.
  • Hours of operations may change slightly, as this order has allowed us to offer food & beverage until Midnight the entire week.

These policies and procedures may be updated at anytime without notice to help us better serve our guests. It is our top priority to do our part in helping prevent the spread of COVID-19, while still serving as many guests as possible. If you have any questions, please contact us at

OPERATING HOURS - Shawnee County's current health order states that food & beverage service (including alcohol) will stop at 10:00pm nightly. This means our kitchen and bar will close at 10pm. We will also stop selling lanes at 10pm; however, if you are not finished bowling at 10pm, no worries, we will stay here for you to finish your bowling.

MASK REQUIREMENT POLICY - We have worked directly with the Shawnee County Health Department to develop the following policies for our unique facility.

  • Masks are required in the following areas and situations
    • Entering the Facility
    • While on the concourse (carpeted area)
    • Interaction with staff (anywhere in the facility)
    • Going to the Snack Bar, Bar or Restroom
    • When looking for a bowling ball
    • In the Arcade
  • Masks are not required in the following areas/situations BUT we STRONGLY encourage them:
    • Physically eating or drinking
    • While you are on the approach to bowl

PROCEDURES TO KEEP YOU SAFE - Our priority is to keep our customers, staff and and community as safe as possible. We have implemented a number of procedures over the past few months to attain this goal. Some of these procedures are below:

  • Sanitizing Equipment: We have always sanitized shoes after use, now we will sanitize the bowling balls too. Each group will be asked to leave used equipment at the lane when they are finished. Our staff will come down, sanitize all equipment, & return back to the proper place
  • Hand Sanitizer & Wipes: We have installed numerous public hand sanitizer stations PLUS we will have sanitizer wipes/cleaners available, so if you want to wipe down the ball prior to using, you will be able too.
  • Contact Tracing: We do ask that one person from each group sign in for potential contact tracing. This information will be kept confidential and will NOT be used for anything else. It will only be provided to local health authorities upon their request when investigating a case.
  • Employee Health & Safety: All of our employees will be wearing face masks while working. In addition, each one will have their temperature taken and certify they have not had symptoms prior to working. Any employee who has symptoms will not be allowed to work per KDHE standards.

We hope to see everyone real soon! If you do have a questions, please contact us through our Facebook page or email us at
